On a conjecture of Brickman concerning complex polynomials
Abstract
In this paper we present some partial results for the following conjecture of L. Brickman: If P 0 is a polynomial of degree n with P(0) = 0 and α(0,π) then there exists an arc Γ on |z|=1 of length at least 2α/n such that |arg(P(z))|α, zΓ.
