Abstract

This work shows the results of an investigation made in 2010. It displays the analysis in agreement with the social processes, developed by formal merchants (with a work permission) and informal merchants (without a work permission), that made activities in the Feria Pinto in Temuco city. This work will emphasize the relation that exist between the merchant group (formals merchants with an indoor job, formal suburbs and informal workers), the merchants and the township (indirectly), and the merchants with the administration of the Feria. To practical purposes, this work deepen in a case study, that has the administration, the formal and informal merchants as sampling, whence, once the key elements gave the categorization, it goes on with an analytic presentation of the merchants speech, aspect which allows to put on evidence the politic organization of the merchants, the spatial organization and disputations through the organic union that emerge in the everyday social relations.
