Abstract

In this paper I intend to analyze the ideological forms of cultural and artistic reproduction in the contemporary society from the analytical battery developed by Raymond Williams, specifically relevant to the concept of culture as a social and subjective dimension that condenses dimensions of observation/practice critical thinking. In turn, the reflexive tendency of thought and epistemological matrix of Williams will be outlined. Operationally, I will focus on the book Marxism and Literature, mainly in the conceptual construction of culture and ideology as vanishing points that can drill in other areas of sociological reflection. Therefore, it should be noted that seeks to describe and analyze the reflection of Williams from the culturalist/creative aspect, but without neglecting the political criticism that develops towards the ideological forms of reproduction of social relations.
