A research network to study the causes and consequences of large-scale forest fires in Chile, including global climate change, ecosystem disruption, and biodiversity loss

Abstract

The principal goals of this project are (1) identify the critical issues with respect to the growing threat of forest fires facing Chile, (2) assemble a multi-national research team to address these threats, and (3) develop a research agenda and outline a proposal for support of the research agenda.
