Abstract

The objective of this research was to analyze the basic fertility of soils present in the El Yali National Park. The sectors analyzed for differentiated coverage were: 1) Albufera coastal lagoon zone, 2) Colejuda lagoon zone, 3) Eucalyptus forest zone in Matanzas lagoon environment, 4) Pine Forest zone in Matanzas lagoon environment , and 5) outlet creek Las Rosas at Matanzas lagoon. The results were applied a principal component analysis and presented more than 60% correlation for each component. Four of the five sectors analyzed, had low levels of organic matter, being the sector pine forest around Matanzas lagoon with the lowest value 0.17%. The pH is provided in the middle range, except for outlet creek Las Rosas at Matanzas lagoon, where it reaches the value of 8.11. The exchangeable potassium is elevated in three of the four sectors reaching 374 mg / kg in Colejuda lagoon zone. In the analysis of salinity for outlet creek Las Rosas sector, the analysis shows that all values are altered, it is seen that potassium is under the midrange, while the chloride is about 9 times the average value, while sulfate is approximately three times under the average. Calcium is also found under in the midrange
