Abstract

One of the nations’ main concerns across the globe is to improve the public quality of life and health standards. Many countries in Latin-American are facing this chal-lenge, being Chile one of the most involvedwith this commitmentin the area. During the year 2013, circulatory system diseases were one ofthe most important causesof death in Chile according to a report presented by the Chilean National Bureau of Sta-tistics (INE). This report points out that the 29% of men and 27% of women in Chile have been affected by this type of disease [1].Undoubtedly, these sad numbers arise an opportunity of analyzing ways to improve this situation by supporting health pro-fessionals in obtaining early diagnoses and more accurate treatments.
