Vapor-liquid equilibrium of hydrogen-containing mixtures
Abstract
The Peng-Robinson equation of state was used to treat and correlate experimental data of hydrogen-containing mixtures. The method of the equation of state was applied for reduction of data. Mixture parameters and pseudocritical constants were evaluated by regression of experimental data. The study was done by rigorous application of the fundamental equations of phase equilibria, and general correlations for the adjustable parameters were obtained. In this way, a better understanding of the behavior of the Peng-Robinson equation is obtained here. Also, a more complete comprehension of different factors involved in the behavior of hydrogen-containing mixtures is achieved.
