Abstract

In spite of the large increase in faculty members (from 1 in 2008 to 9 as of July 2015) our number of postdoctoral researchers at our Astronomy Group is currently far from ideal, with only five fellows. Since staff members have administrative and teaching duties, we urgently need to hire more postdocs to balance our growth with motivated astronomers who are purely committed to research. The goal of this project is to provide funds for one postdoctoral position. 2)
