Learning analytics: understanding relationships between eLearning and library use, student perceptions of these tools and learning outcomes

Abstract

The project will combine data from four large online data sources within a university (library, Multibusqueda, Learning Management System and student records database) to establish: (i) the usage patterns of students around educational technology; and (ii) the effects of specific patterns upon learning processes and outcomes. To this will be added the results from phenomenographic interviews to establish: (iii) the intentions and strategies underlying identified patterns.
