Method development of high performance thin layer chromatography for quantitative analysis of acetylsalycilic acid.
Abstract
A High Performance Thin Layer Chromatography (HPTLC) method was developed and validated to determine quantitatively acetylsalicylic acid. The results proved that the method is linear between 100 and 600 ng/spot, with repeatability (RSD = 2,1-3,5%), reproducible (RSD = 4,8-6,0%), accurate (99%) and selective for tested sustance. In conclusion, it is an adequate method for its quantitative analyses.
