Abstract

Contextual information from five archaeological sites and its hearths are evaluated. They are located in Marazzi and Tres Arroyos localities, within the valley of glacial origin that connects Inutil and San Sebastian bay, from the north of Tierra del Fuego. Anthracological analysis done on the basis of charcoal from these hearths linked to selk’nam affiliation and their predecessors are evaluated. The chronological range is between approximately 1.218 and 93 years cal. BP. An interpretation of these records is presented.
