The rhetorics of interculturality
Keywords: interculturality, indigenous peoples, citizenship, rhetorics
Abstract
Rhetorics might well be a cover-up for maintaining current divisions among the least favored population in Chile. The use of a politically correct language does not necessarily imply the solution of the root problems that gravitate over Chile today. What is needed besides is to recognize the responsibility that the Chilean administration has regarding perpetuating conditions of inequity. Based on this recognition, the rhetoric gains full meaning when restoration acts simultaneously occur.
