Abstract

An estuary provides a unique landscape where species from diverse provenances converge, while the water allows sporting and recreative practice. In the case study, the river Lingue allows improving the living conditions and the social status of neighboring indigenous communities. By highlighting this environment's values and connecting them with the local history, such purposes may be achieved.
