Abstract

There is an urgent need for an original approach to the paradox of man, who needs God, but can only achieve it if I receive it. The contribution of this study is distinguished from similar ones by the investment of a "more" that, as a critical "plus", inserts itself deeply into the experience of the human being, while at the same time questioning that experience radically. This questioning, prompted by the Holy Spirit, is responsible for the need to think about the truth of man today in the light of Jesus Christ. The book is directed, therefore, to those who rethink, with seriousness, the noetic and ontic questions of the question for man at all levels. As such it awakens the astonishment of thinking itself, but also its peculiar gratitude, as it is overturned in an endless praise of God the Father. Such praise of His grace is the reason why it is considered opportune to make available everything that has been silently conceived, in the midst of the great difficulties and achievements of a university teaching and research.
