Keywords: Data mining, correlations, climatological data
Abstract
This article describes the result of a data mining process in which correlation techniques are applied on climatological records, and seeks to obtain the relationship between re-analysis data and data obtained from local meteorological stations. As a case study, data are used on the climate of the Tarapacá region, located in northern Chile, as well areas bordering Peru, Bolivia and Argentina.
