Abstract

The work developed below is presented in terms of the imprint of androcentrism in the context of sport and events, being approached from the dialectical perspective present in Marx and Engels, Stalin and McLaren, also following an essay discursive line according to the approaches of Ricoeur, that is, the construction and understanding of the story from the event as a succession of facts concatenated into a multiplicity of factors. Considering the event as a multifactorial and complex historical construct, we work from the documentary technique and we conclude that the presence of androcentrism in sport continues to have reception structures -due to the proposal of Duch and Mèlich- in today's society despite the organization and permanent and progressive mobilization of women as a subject of law. However, this same social structure of mobility has allowed women to achieve important advances in relation to gender equity, while anchoring rights achieved.
