FACTORES PREDICTORES Y DROGODEPENDENCIAS EN POBLACION ADOLESCENTE

Abstract
Study aimed at identifying predictors of drug use in the adolescent population, through the measurement of 90 adolescents belonging to 3 educational establishments of high school in the commune of Talcahuano, 45 of them who presented drug use and 45 who did not show consumption. of drugs. A data collection instrument was applied consisting of the questionnaire of "Lifestyles in Young University Students" (CEVJU-R) for the measurement of lifestyles in young people, the Texas Social Behavior Inventory (TSBI) for the measurement of self-esteem and the FF-SIL for the measurement of family functioning. Among the main results, it was observed that, controlling for the "inadequate family cohesion" variable, the change in a point of the male sex variable implies an increase in 9,649 in the chances that the adolescent presents a drug consumption. When controlling for the male sex variable, adolescents with inadequate family cohesion presented a 4,168 chances of presenting a drug consumption. Therefore, those students who are men and additionally have an inadequate cohesion within the family, have high probabilities of drug use within the studied group.
