Entanglement purification in cavity QED using local operations
Abstract
An implementation of an entanglement purification protocol using a cavity quantum electrodynamics (QED) in the optical domain and the microwave was studied. The conditional evolution of ancillas was obtained by sequence of one and two qubit gates. It was shown that the a broad range of parameters increased the fidelity. A setup of cold trapped ions inside cavities was studied in the optical domain, where quantum bits are defined by two electronic levels of ions.
