Abstract

The invention relates to molecular and genetic biology and to a method and tools that have been developed that can be used for the production and selection of transformants for multiple productive, industrial, research and control uses among others. The invention comprises a transformation module including at least one resistance or expression cassette containing a strong promoter, a terminator and a selection or expression or reporter gene, which is flanked by two fragments homologous to a region of the genome that is to be incorporated into the module. In addition, the invention relates to a method for the production of the aforementioned transformation module and to the use of same as microorganism study, intervention, improvement, selection and modification tools.
