Biologically programmed silicon nanoparticles assembly

Abstract

Silicon nanoparticles have been assembled to a large extent approximate to 600 nm using a DNA, network template. Nanoparticles have been synthesized by thermal vapor deposition technique in 200 torr helium ambient. Heating effect of DNA mixed silicon nanoparticles has been observed and it was found that heating of the solution made the alignment to a very large extent, i.e., of several micrometers.
