he present article describes the fundamentally European themes and currents in historiography dedicated to the study of the History of International Relations (HRRII) with special attention to the French-Swiss and Spanish literature. Except for the English school, the rich development of the disciplinein Anglo-Saxon countries was excluded due to the limits set for the present article
