Abstract

This article meets the general characteristics of the trainer of teachers, identifying and dimensions of analysis, teaching skills, personal characteristics, professional characteristics and functions associated with university teaching. The methodology considered semi-structured interviews to fourteen teachers from threetraditional universities in the region of Bio Bio. The analysis considered open and axial coding from the constant comparison method of grounded theory. Mon The results indicate that teacher trainer should be someone committed to their profession, have a good preparation in their field of discipline have dominion teaching, research and academic outreach develop and interact appropriately with their students
