Relaxation times in exchange-biased nanostructures

Abstract

A study was performed on relaxation times in exchange-biased nanostructures. The energy barrier for exchange-based (EB) systems, using the ferromagnetic domain wall model, was calculated. It was found that the temperature dependence of the EB is in good agreement with experimental results. It was shown that the exchange coupling increases the superparamagnetic blocking temperature of nanostructured ferromagnets.
