Abstract

The prevalence of violence from sons and daughterstowards parents at a psychological, physical andeconomic level is analyzed. The sample wascomposed by 182 adolescents from Los Lagos Region(Chile)The results show the presence of child-to-parent violence of the three mentioned types to bothparents, the psychological violence towards themother being statistically significant. It is statisticallysignificant for the three types of violence, teenagersof both genders that are violent to both parents. Itmust be considered that the violence can also comefrom teenagers to parents
