Thiourea versus the oxyanion hole as a double H-bond donor
Abstract
A novel receptor based on the 4,5-diamine-9,9-dimethylxanthene skeleton functionalised with triflamides has been developed and its hydrogen-bonding donor ability is examined and compared with that of thiourea groups.
