Abstract

The time allotted to read sentences with different levels of physical and mental effort in young and older adults was measured. The intention was to show the effect of aging in simuación sensorimotor processes. Initial results show significant differences in sentences low level of mental effort and counterintuitive results in mental counterfactual sentences in context. The results suggest decalibration effects associated with age, affecting sensorimotor simulation and processes of linguistic comprehension.
