Abstract

This paper presents a general description of MISTRAL, a knowledge-based system for distance education that incorporates neural network techniques for teaching strategies planning. It is described the motivation to create such platform, the theoretical foundations supporting it, the services it offers to users and some results to discuss. © Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg 2003.
