Acanalonia chloris (Berg), present in Argentina and Uruguay, is recorded for the first time in Chile. Specimens were collected in the central area of the country (Valparaíso and O’Higgins regions) from the cultivated trees Eucalyptus globulus Labill. and Populus alba L.
