Abstract

his research intends to make known the change that takes place in the university classroom by using the didactic device Study and Research Course (SRC) proposed by the Anthropological Theory of the Didactic (ATD) which allows to face the monumentalism in the classrooms, taking in mind that in most of these classes are still carried out traditionally. It establishes its effectiveness in the processing of information and types of learning. The starting. The purpose of the research is to describe the levels of mathematical knowledge acquired by students in the course of working with SRC. The research is part of the mixed method, using a quasi-experimental design of two groups with pre and post-test. In the experimental group an intervention is performed with an SRC, while the control group works with traditional methodology. The SRC is designed so that its implementation promotes learning from the student's own activities. Activities that constitute the proposal of class work are presented where students will be responsible for finding the ways to solve the question presented, while the role of the teacher is to guide and guide the activities of their students. The obtained results allow to establish the influence of the didactic device in the learning strategies and types of learning, as indicators of lasting learning, the students are motivated to work in a cooperative way and they think favorably about its implementation.
