Abstract

We propose an indirect approach which examines the change in ecosystem services through systemic change in energy. In this sense, a key to understanding the concept of ecosystem service is through the study of their energy supply (IUCN, 2008). This variation can be expressed as variation of the energy consumption due to changes in the level of production, population, economic structure in the energy mix.
