Abstract

The book is contextualized in the national celebration of 90 years, from the first Latin American School of Social Work, the Dr. Alejandro del Río school. It compiles and systematizes the tribute of the Social Work schools from all over the country that are affiliated to the Network of Schools of Social Work of the Univocities of the Council of Rectors of Chile CRUCH. It presents a profile of the creator of the first school and a historical timeline with the main milestones of the schools and the formation of the discipline Two articles on the trend of Critical Social Work and a presentation of some historical theses from the Library of this historical school.
