Abstract

This article, following Miller and Blair (1986), evaluates the employment linkages by branch of activity of the input-output matrices (size 12 * 12) of the national economy for the period 2013-2017. The purpose is contributing with an imagen of the prioritized economic sectors according to their ability to influence employment in themselves and in others. The capacity of the sectors generating direct and indirect jobs and their effects on the other sectors of the economy is determined through a sensitivity analysis. Finally, the paper analyzes the dynamics of the temporal way of changes and the intensity of natural resources in the capital-labor relation of the national economy.
