Abstract

‘Innovation’ is an omnipresent term which is transversal to many fields. In this article we briefly describe a research program to explore the ‘Discourse of Innovation’. We first define innovation as social practice and critically revise the notion of discourse. Then, we outline the ‘Discourse of Innovation’ as an object of study, making explicit the epistemological tenets of our approach. We finally propose a tentative research matrix, and the originality claims of this program. The ideas contained in thisarticle can be useful for those interested in analyzing the discourse and the practice of innovation from a multiperspective point of view.
