Abstract

This chapter exposes, briefly, the repression developed during the dictatorships military-civilians in Chile, from 1973, and in la Argentina, from 1976, in Patagonia. Overall, both dictatorhips were applying in your southern regions the same represive sistematic national policy, of course, with special feature according to the political actors and own politic processes. In spite of the repression afected a less persons that in the capital the both states, the level of repression was high and it produced a deep footprint in the local societies. Also, beside to repression it stand out the resistence of the regional society to these actions, by means of military tactics in the southern Chile or social organization in la Argentina.
