Dihydroxybenzenes driven Fenton reaction for oxidative depolymerization and valorization of lignin
Más información
Fecha de publicación: | 2020 |
Objetivos: | To determine the reaction conditions for DHB driven Fenton reaction to promote a selective breaking of the the β-O-4 linkage, aromatic ring hydroxylation or demethoxylation in the β-O-4 linkage model compounds and auto-catalyzed depolymerization in a commercial lignin sample. |

Notas: | The reactivity of the DHB driven Fenton reaction is due to the production of different oxidant species, differences in the stability and lability of the complexes as well as changes in the Redox potentials of these systems. The control of these variables allows to selectively break the β-O-4 linkage |
