Abstract

This paper analyzes Kawesqar non-mythical narrative discourse from the point of view of discourse grammar, taking into account the sentence types that occur in both non-hybrid (anecdotic and historical discourses, as well as travelogues), and hybrid discourses, being the latter combinations of declarative-narrative, autobiographic-anecdotic, anecdotic-travelogue, historicalprocess, and historical-travelogue discourses.
