Notas: | Toxic harmful algal bloom arises due to the exponential growth of toxin producing dinoflagellates or diatoms. Outbreaks of these species are a constant threat to public health and have a negative impact on the marine ecosystem, and mean severe economic losses to aquaculture, fisheries and tourism. |
