Programas de promoción de la lectura en la primera infancia en Chile

Abstract
This article reveals key aspects of the Reading Promotion impact and especially Reading Aloud in the early childhood. This is a fact reveals by many theoretical referents. Chile is not a country foreign to this matter due to the problem that it faces nowadays linked to the results of the national and internationals evaluations related to Reading skills. Those results affect the sectors with more social and economic disadvantages and that increases due to the actual educational system that classifies educative centers in publics, subsidized, and private. Consequently it has been developed in Chile many initiatives to change this conclusions. It has emerged a public policy based in books and reading. It is known as “Política Nacional de la Lectura y el Libro 2015 – 2020” and comes from the government and a cross implication of public and private sector. First through a Reading Plan and then through divers non lucrative activities that are being performed in different contexts. This article presents those precedents and concludes with a critique reflection and some projections about.
