Rediseño curricular: Caso de carreras técnicas de una Universidad Estatal Chilena

Abstract

Today, most universities have as an indispensable challenge to reflect on the performance or core competencies, which will have to demonstrate the future professionals and technicians to contribute to the progress of the country. In this sense, the main objective is to present the process of a curriculum redesign based on competencies in a Latin American State university. To this end, a series of procedures and active-participatory techniques based on teamwork, considering officials from different disciplines and technical units, which were involved in systematic design processes of the established curricular innovations. The result meant establishing a feasible Curricular Architecture Model, from which technical careers were designed-redesigned.
