Abstract

Potato apyrase has been the research line of our group since the early sixties. The first studies were concerned with the catalytic properties and specificity of ATP-diphosphohydrolase or apyrase from commercial potato stock. This pioneer work has been most useful for the ones interested in apyrase from other sources like insect or animal tissues.
