Abstract
This document presents the experience based on the principle of the reverse class, regarding the use of videos of the classes held in the Diploma program in Environmental Management and Energy Sustainability, which is taught at the University of La Serena. This method was decided to use, since the program is face-to-face, but a significant number of our students work in shifts and could not attend all classes. By having this audiovisual resource, it allowed the participants, mainly those who were not present, to have a resource of support regarding the topics covered When observing the results of the averages of the students in the different courses, of the 2017 generation, which this system was not applied, with the 2018 generation, which used this method, it is observed that there is an increase in the average of the course by 11.8%, increasing the grade from 5.2 to 5.9. Another important element to mention is the satisfaction expressed by the students for this tool, since by missing the physical classes, they can have access to it, with all the content discussed, discussions and analysis generated in the classes carried out, forming the different types of evaluation.
