Abstract

We study the existence of positive solutions of the singular quasi-linear elliptic equation {-div(|x| -ap|∇u|p-2∇u) = |x|-(a+1)p+cf(x, u) in Ω u = 0 on ∂Ω, where p > 1. We use upper and lower-solutions methods, variational techniques and regularity theory.
