Objetivos: 1. To characterize the population of neutrophils in the lungs during S. pneumoniae infection. 2. To determine the impact of IL-10 producing neutrophils in the outcome of S. pneumoniae pneumonia. 3. To identify the PAMPs of S. pneumoniae involved in the induction of IL-10 production in neutrophils.
