Abstract

The present patent refers to a process of adsorption and removal of heavy metals and pesticides present alone or together in contaminated environmental compartments, through the use of natural adsorbents obtained from agroindustrial residues, in this case, bark of Pinus elliottii, Pinus taeda, peel and peel of cassava roots (Manihot esculenta Crantz), and residue from the extraction process of cassava starch (bagasse) (Manihot esculenta Crantz), which were physically modified in terms of their granulometric structure.
