Abstract

Very fine particles of high purity copper and with high market has been obtained value by an hydrometallurgical process from the rolling process of electrolytic copper. To achieve the desired result, first the electrolyte was obtained and then we studied the electrowinning (EW) process variables. The study specifically focused on how could affect the quality of the copper powders finally obtained, the initial copper concentration in solution, the amount of acid used and the sweep time during the process .
