Abstract

This paper puts forward the Claude Levi-Strauss’ method of structural analysis as a tool for analysing the Judgement of Paris myth as it is told in fifteen literary versions from antiquity. The use of this method offers an original interpretation of the myth and encourages its application on other mythical stories.
