Abstract

In any mining activity, the development of different views of information analysis allow greater knowledge and ways of optimizing the process. One of the most important parameters that mineral flotation has is the granulometry, both for the efficiency of the process, as well as its effect on the energy in the grinding and the quality and capacity for obtaining water recovered in the thickener. Therefore, the characterization of the kinetic flotation is sought, by evaluating specific particle sizes, in this way, can be correlated the balance of the mass of the population of the milling product (the medium of the spatial interpolation) and the results of flotation kinetics.
