Abstract
ABSTRACT: This article aims to analyze the soybean agribusiness insertion in the city of Santarem, Para, Brazil, since the Ecological Economic Zoning made for BR 163, reveals that there is a lack of applicability of the instruments of good agro-environmental governance, points out that this monoculture brought numerous social and environmental impacts for the region aggravated deforestation rates, land grabbing and violence in the country, shows that the installation of the Port of Cargill in the city of Santarém for transportation of production to the export market was made in violation of the standards of environmental licensing, in place that soybean production Amazon requires that traditional people to leave their communal lands, which directly affect, negatively, the ways of doing, create and live the Amazonian man, reveals that Amazon land occupation policy is still made as at the time of the colonial period, where prevails the idea of development at any cost, to the detriment of the protection and enhancement of fundamental rights.
