Modern Myths: Efficiency and Comfort in Advertising in Chilean Architecture Magazines, 1930-1950
Abstract
The following article addresses the role played by advertising ads in Chilean architecture magazines between the 1930s and 1950s in the construction, dissemination and installation of a socio-cultural meaning of the idea of an efficient and comfortable interior through a simple but effective operation: translate the technical language of scientific-technical innovations into common speech.
