Abstract

This article presents the results of a cross-sectional descriptive study, whose objective was to determine the simple verb-nominal lexical collocations of level A2 and B1 in a sub-corpus of the CAELE corpus using the Corpus of Language Learners in Electronic Format procedures. The analysis of the data showed, on the one hand, that this type of placement is higher at A2 level rather than B1 level and, on the other hand, that collations with support verbs are infrequent in relation to the structures in which uses verbs of full meaning.
